Five Citroëns to be Auctioned at Pebble Beach

Gooding & Company, the official auction house of the world‑renowned Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, and the only auction held within the gates of the famed 17‑Mile Drive, attracts leading international collectors.  This year, on August 24 & 25, with Citroën the featured as the featured marque at Pebble Beach, five classic Citroëns are up for auction – all without reserve.  Here’s what is being offered with some rather premium estimated bid values:

  1937 Traction Avant 7C – Est: $35,000 – $45,000 US   UPDATE: Result – SOLD for $34,100 US.

  1957 DS19 – Est: $70,000 – $90,000 US   UPDATE: Result – SOLD for $192,500 US

  1972 SM – Est: $60,000 – $80,000 US   UPDATE: Result – SOLD for $83,600 US.

  1974 DS23 Pallas – Est: $60,000 – $80,000 US   UPDATE: Result – SOLD for $50,600 US.

  1975 CX 2200 – Est: $50,000 – $70,000 US   UPDATE: Result – SOLD for $55,000 US.
