Citroënvie member John McCulloch visited a friend in Switzerland last month whose family continues to not only enjoy classic Citroën ownership, they actually drive them!
They have owned this 1932 Rosalie for more than 60 years. Strict licensing in Switzerland demanded that he get a technical control for the car. It passed without incident which is hardly surprising since both the father and son are mechanics. When John asked the father how it was to drive the car he said “Like a truck!”
John’s friend uses this 1955 2CV and his 1954 Traction Avant as daily drivers. Both passed their technical controls.
Talk about living in another age!
