VEA Celebrates 100th Anniversary of Citroën

On June 14, 2019 the VEA (Vintage European Automobile) Club marked the 100th anniversary of the Citroën company with a dinner party in Montreal featuring this lovely cake.

It was held at the Restaurant L’Ambroisie, nestled in the heart of Chateau Saint-Ambroise, on the banks of the Lachine Canal near the Atwater Market, in the Griffintown section of the city.

The Vintage European Automobile ( vea.qc.ca) has existed since 1974.  It is a multi-Mark European car club that is blessed by an impressive amount of Citroën’s of all type including a few Traction Avant Cabriolets, D models, SMs, Traction sedans, CXs as well as many 2CVs.

As a result of this French automobile segment, the group celebrated Citroën’s 100th Anniversary at their monthly supper with a dedicated cake that was enjoyed by all who attended.

Now they have to burn all the calories while thinking of André Citroën and his accomplishments that brought them all together.
