2025 QUEBEC EVENTS (all):
- May 17, ’25 – 12 PM – Randonnée et souper dans les Cantons. A walk in the forest at Forand Park in Mont-Shefford, a ride in a 2CV to Knowlton, and another ride, this time guided by our 2CV enthusiast friend Gabriel Aubertin, to Sugar Hill Vineyard for a tasting and aperitif. Then, Gabriel will take us back to his inn in the village of Knowlton for a dinner with a menu that will delight you. Notification for dinner must be given at least 10 days in advance. If you’d like to stay at the hostel, you can also reserve a room by speaking specifically to Gabriel and mentioning “Citroen Group” for a great 2CV rate. Meet at 12:00 PM in the parking lot of East Side Mario’s restaurant in Bromont. 2 Rue St Martin, Bromont, Quebec J2L 3L2. (Exit 78 off the A10). Bring tables and chairs for drinks as usual. Departure at 12:30 PM.
- June 14 & 15, ’25 – Élégance Trois-Rivières – A Citroën friendly event that will will feature the 70th anniversary of the DS. It is being organized by Citroënvie member André Verner. - July 5, ’25 – 8 AM – Le Parc Marie-Victorin – Botany at its best! This outing will take you to one of the most beautiful botanical gardens in Quebec. Parc Marie-Victorin will show you all the colours in its seven thematic gardens, its museum, and its surroundings. We are expected for a guided tour of approximately 1.5 hours in the mysterious and unknown world of carnivorous plants, followed by a group picnic on site, and in the afternoon, a self-guided tour of the new museum and the six other thematic gardens. Meet at 8 AM in the village of St-Paul-d’Abbotsford, in the municipal parking lot next to City Hall at 980 Principale Street/Route 112. Bring your lunch, tables, and chairs for dinner. Cost: $23 per person, payable at the start. (Please register a week before and have exact change.)
