2018 EVENTS (all):


  • April 7 ’18  –  Fiats on the Dragon – is an event that features a car show on Saturday April 7th from 10am to 2pm in Townsend, TN at the Talley Ho Inn in the Great Smoky Mountains.  This year they have decided to extend an invitation to include French cars at the car show. Anyone interested in driving the Dragon and the numerous other mountain roads in the area can sign up for the entire event at: http://fiatonthedragon.com/.  However those interested in a more laid back weekend on Friday April 6th we will have a welcome dinner in Knoxville, TN.  We will also be doing a driving tour of Baxter Gardens on Sunday April 8th.  These exceptional gardens are works of art to see during the peak blooming season in April.   • April 14 ’18  –  Annual French Car Meet – Longwood, FL.  Join us on the oak-shaded brick streets of historic downtown Longwood, beginning at 3:30 pm.  Free admission and parking.  If your French car is resting, feel free to drive another classic car, as this is a big event with up to 200 enthusiasts’ cars.  Address: 174 West Church Avenue.  ZIP: 32750.  RSVP.  Contact: Willem G. van de Wouw.   • May  18 – 20 ’18  –  Citroëns at Carlisle – Carlisle, PA.  Brad Nauss will be organizing a full weekend of events for all the enjoy.  He asks that of you you please RSVP at citparts@gmail.com so he can plan accordingly for the crowd.  As usual the Renault Club will be sponsoring a French Dinner on Friday May 18 at 6PM, at the “R” building Pavilion.  Price for the Dinner is $10 per person, with OPTIONAL wine for an addition $5 donation. (Proceeds benefit Toys 4 Tots).  Eat as much as you care to until the food runs out.  Please RSVP for the Friday dinnerto Marvin McFalls (at: moose01@earthlink.net) by (May 7th 2018) so we can prepare enough!  The theme this year is southern French, by way of Louisiana Menu planned is:
    • Appetizers of Smoked Salmon Pate and Cheeses
    • Smoked Brisket (Languedocienne) cooked in the new French “Sous Vide” process with Cajun or Verte BBQ Sauces
    • Potatoes Dauphinoise (scalloped)
    • Green Beans with vinegrette
    • Desert of Pear Gallette (Maybe with Ice Cream)
    After dinner entertainment is TBD. (guaranteed no Karaoke however)
    An Award will be given to the person who can claim ownership of the highest number of OPERABLE French Cars.


  • June  14 – 17 ’18  –  Rendezvous East – Saratoga Springs, NY.  The largest gathering of classic Citroëns in North America.  Last year’s organizing committee, made up of Michaela Hellman, David Cossitt-Levy, Christopher (Toaph) Westfall, and Tim Kinnel, will once again be upholding the tradition of a full featured weekend of activities.  They are still looking for volunteers at the event, so please lend a hand if you can.  Registration will be open soon at https://citroenrendezvous.org/


  • July  15 ’18 – 9:00 am  –  Bastille Day Rendezvous – New York City.  The 19th annual get-together to celebrate Bastille Day.  It’s like a giant combination of Chanukah, Noel, Eid al-Fitr, Thanksgiving, Divali, Vesak, Kawanza and the Chinese New Year all wrapped up in one.  It starts at Grant’s Tomb,
