2023 QUEBEC EVENTS (all):
- Aug. 24-25, ’24 – Peace & Love Rendezvous (6th year!) – St-Alphonse-Rodriguez, QC. Organized by Les Automobiles de Rik. Free camping on site (toilets available). Hotels and motels available less than 25 kms from the garage at www.lanaudière.ca.
Saturday August 24 8:30 a.m. to noon: Arrival – Registration Sales kiosk and exchange of Citroën items for everyone, seller, buyer “Everyone can sell, everyone can buy”
Noon to 1 p.m.: Bring your lunch
Afternoon: Guided tour with tasting At the walnut garden in Saint-Ambroise-de-Kildare. Back to the garage. For those who wish, there will be a costume competition, free choice of subject, disguise, car decoration, music, etc. 5 minutes of presentation per car. The red carpet will be rolled out for you. Jury and awards ceremony, this time for real! “Peace&Love” costume or others for everyone during the evening or all day, as you wish!
6 p.m.: Evening meal in the garage On the menu: Paella or sausage/salad, dessert, coffee Only by pre-registration no later than August 14, 2024. Bring your own wine, beer and glasses.
Sunday August 25 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.: Buffet lunch in the garage. To each participant of the lunch buffet: please bring a piece of fruit to prepare a large fruit salad. THANKS Olympic Games @ Les AutoMobiles de Rik (indoor or outdoor depending on the weather)
Early afternoon walk in the forest with Anaïs the Herbalist (no travel, done behind the garage at our neighbor Claude’s) Relaxed afternoon, chat, free meal.
Registration : $80 per person (pre-registration by August 14, 2024) Cash only, payable at time of registration on Saturday morning. Good to know : Remember to bring appropriate clothing and shoes for the visit to the nut garden and the herbalism activity.
Activities will take place rain or shine. For the brave, bring your swimming costume, the lake is not far away and it’s refreshing, believe me!
