This ultimate LHD DS is a collector piece acquired in 2014 from Henri Fradet, who owns the world acclaimed Citromuseum in Castellane France https://www.citromuseum.com. Before being acquired by the museum, it had only one original owner, in South of France. Henri performed a complete technical overall of the car which had a genuine 82,676 km.
The car was then driven by George Dyke from France to Belgium, from where the present owner exported it in a container to his residence in Canada. April 2019, the owner moved to Scotland /UK and the car was shipped over there in a container.
Darrin Brownhill , owner of Citroën Classics http://www.citroenclassics.co.uk , did the usual maintenance. A complete servicing as well as an upgrade with a 123 electronic ignition will be done prior selling the car.
The odometer has a genuine 85,423 Km, thus only driven 2,747 km since its acquisition in 2014. It is in a 9+ condition, of course with matching numbers.
Special features of the car include: 60’s period steering wheel and door handles (correct for this 1971 model); an aluminium roof; built in CIBIE fog lamps; headrests and front arm rest.
Brand new period Michelin 185 HR 15 XVS-P tires were fitted in 2019.
Since the car left the museum in 2014 it was always with the same owner and stored in a garage with underfloor heating. Photos taken before the car left Canada can be viewed here: https://flic.kr/s/aHskGm5JFz. Extensive recent photos are available on request.

- Paint Color: AC 318 LE (sand metallic)
- Leather Interior color: tobacco
Asking $46,500 US.
