For Sale – 1967 Citroën DS 21 BH Convertible

This convertible was built on the basis of a 1967 station wagon using the DS Club Ivanoff International convertible kit. Construction was started in 2007 and carried out in Italy.

The owner has had serious health problems and will no longer be able to drive. He wants to put his affairs in order, and selling his convertible is part of that. He can provide many photos of this construction, but he is seriously distressed, so please refrain from asking for information if you are simply curious.

Currently situated near Milan Italy, the beautiful convertible is for sale with an asking price of €150,000, seemingly fair given the highly sought-after model (21,67 BH), the price of originals of the same type (€210,000 to €260,000), and the time required by DS Club Ivanoff International to build one (minimum 2 years, and preferably 3).

It might be wise to ask an importer (with a copy of the Italian registration document) if obtaining the national convertible registration document is not a problem. A test drive and an MOT are also required.

  1. At 150k euros, I personally would look for a genuine factory convertible DS, with Citroen Heritage certificate, matching numbers. Replica’s in pristine condition have been going for around 80k euros. The problem with replica’s is that they are never worth the price of conversion, and their market value will decrease the first minute they are used.

  2. Bonjour Mes Amies

I am in agreement with Mr. Guillaud. It undoubtly a very good “rebuilt” Citroen. But for that much money it
does not bring with any historical reference. At a classical auction, I doubt, and I am no action participant.

In real monies on the market scene….I very, very nice ole replica….as in many of the Porsche replica’s. Sometimes around $25,000.
