1970 Citroën DS 21 Pallas

A daily driver, this exceptional DS 21 Pallas was originally sold by GB Motor Company in Reno Nevada 1971.

The outstanding Bordeaux paint is highlighted  by a Henri Chaprone like stainless steel body panel. The vehicle underwent a three and a half year ($50,000.) renovation by Paul Heilig of Citroên Classics in Bonsail, CA. 

Extensive repairs included disassembling engine, drive train, transmission, radiator. and repairing or replacement all needed parts.  Other work initialed disassembling steering rack, installing new boots, new timing chain, brake calipers, hose, flush and repair radiator, install new heater valves, Repaint engine, rebuild oil pump, remove and repair wiring harness, repair engine compartment wiring, regrinding camshaft, replace bearings and gaskets. Rebuild 3rd and 4th and reverse servos. Replace drive shaft, rings, heater valves. New battery, carpeting, headliner, door panels, and new radial tires, powder coated rims. Brand new Sincera SN250 radial tires. Paul Heilig test drove the car for over 200 miles prior to delivery. Paul does all of Jay Leno’s French cars.

The five-digit odometer shows 88,891 miles.

Provenance includes service records original owners manual and also a custom car cover.

The car has California plates. The RPM gauge works intermittently.

  1. Your rebuild notes make no mention of the hydrolic system(s), Was work done on this assembly and has it been tested and found in good order.
