Born on April 14, 1963, Miki won the award for best newcomer at the 8th Yokohama Film Festival that took place from January 25 to February 7, 1986. She married guitarist Tomoyasu Hotei on June 6, 1999. The couple’s daughter was born on July 26, 2002. The family resides in London.
