On the occasion of its 100th anniversary, Citroën has invited fans and all interested parties to a very special event in the middle of Paris. 100 legendary Citroën models – from the A 10 HP to the 19_19 Concept – will be presented under the open sky from June 14 – 16, 2019 at rue Linois in the 15th arrondissement of Paris. The place was deliberately chosen because it lies in the middle of the “Javel” district – where everything began in 1919 and where Citroën produced vehicles for more than 50 years.
To mark its 100th birthday, Citroën will present the event as a unique journey through time. Overnight in the 15th arrondissement, the Rue Linois will be transformed into the so-called “Citroën street”. At a length of 400 meters, historic Citroën models will be lined up with the brand’s next iconic Citroën, the 19_19 concept and impressively illustrate the brand’s 100-year history.
The road is very close to Citroën’s first plant on the Quai de Javel in Paris, where the first Citroën model was unveiled on June 4, 1919.
A total of 100 legendary models owned by private collectors and Conservatoire Citroën will, as the company is promoting, illustrate 100 years of innovation, courage and comfort in the service of individual mobility.
