An exhibition named Horsepower has just opened at the Rahmi M Koç Museum in Istanbul.
On display are 35 cars produced between the 1880s and present day).
Two of them are Citroëns; a 1922 Type C and a 1951 Traction Avant 11 Normale.
The Traction Avant has customized interior seats and door panels along with chromed signal housings.
Note that it also has unusual rims. Are these wider rims typical for Tractions in Turkey? In this case they are holding much wider tires rather than the typical Michelin 165 x 400 radial tires that Michelin developed for the this Traction model. Are they to better traverse the desert?
Those are Volkswagen tail lights from the early 50s to 1961.
