Fully restored in every way:
Engine:
It has an ID-19 short block that had been rebuilt and modified for use in a Traction by Red Dellinger. Original Perfo head. Clutch pressure plate, the cankshaft, flywheel and cutch plate have been balanced, along with the pistons and connecting rods. New fuel pump, new distributor and professionally rebuilt carb, starter and generator. K & N air filter. Roger Williams high-output oil pump. External oil filter with oil pressure and temp gauges. Oil was changed this year. The head has had its first re-torque after rebuilding. The engine runs very smooth.
Gearbox:
2nd gear is sorted out so there is no dipping the handle toward 3rd to avoid grinding. New seals and bearings where needed. Shifts easily. Rebuilt original-type clutch.
Wiring:
Totally rewired with fuses and relays for all lighting functions. A back-up light has been added.
Body:
Totally redone, all new door skins and inner frames, new front floor and the front fender ends have been replaced. Fully undercoated. All trim bits have been polished. New window tracks and rubbers throughout. Wheels and hubcaps have been sandblasted and powder coated.
Brakes:
New master cylinder, rebuilt wheel cylinders, relined shoes. New steel brake lines.
Interior:
Fully redone in every aspect. All fabrics and the carpet have been replaced with original-type materials. I have added original-type sun visors; the car did not have them from the factory.
The bad:
There are remnants of glue that held foam insulation to the underside of the hood. I have removed it as it can cause the car to run hotter than it should. The clock does not work.
Price: $27,500 Canadian funds.
Car is located in Toronto, ON, Canada.

I am new to the Citroen world. Does the installation of an ID-19 long block mean that your car will do well at current traffic speeds? Thank you.
Hi- In answer to your question, the ID19 block is stronger and more durable than the original. Also it has insert con-rod bearings as opposed to poured babbitt bearings. The main bearings are larger too. The car can keep up with modern traffic but I don’t drive it much faster than 110 kms. I hope this helps. regards-Larry
