On offer is a great running 2CV. It has very minimal rust (nothing structural), and paint that shows its 95,000 kms.
The frame has been replaced with a galvanized one (no rust) and a 123 electronic ignition replaces its points. The interior is in very good shape. New seat covers of a more durable cloth pattern (like the 2CV6) have been fitted.
It has proven to be totally reliable in the 10 years that I have owned it. The only issue is an oil leak at the drain plug — a result of an overzealous mechanic doing an oil change. It could fixed by installing a helicoil but I have never bothered as it is minor and the oil level can be easily topped up.
Comes with many spare parts including a brand new 2nd stage muffler.
Still a classy car with patina that is adored by all who see it. Perfect to just drive as-is.
