We are saddened to report the death of Lucien Jean, a longtime Toronto Citroënist. He was 93 years old and in poor health from a lengthy illness and several hospitalizations.
Lucien immigrated to Canada from his native France in the early-1960s. After a short period of service at Citroën Canada in Montreal, he had a 30-year career in Toronto as a Citroën mechanic at Citroën Canada and a chief mechanic at Raymond’s European Automobiles until 1990.
He retired in the Southern France’s village of Castillonnès, Lot-et-Garonne were he lived until his passing on September 26, 2017. He was cremated on October 2nd in nearby Tonneins, Lot-et-Garonne.
