This year we made a day trip to historic Elora Ontario, first driving the scenic Forks-of-the-Credit river road, then stopping in to examine an abandoned D Special in Acton, and onto the Wellington County Museum just outside Fergus.  A former “poor house”, we were able to get special admission to the museum and see the fascinating exhibits inside that profiled how destitute people managed to survive the colonial era of the past 150 years in the region.

We motored on to Elora to admire the view of the gorge, do some shopping and have a meal at the Elora Mill Inn before parting company to go home.  It was great to see so many CAC members attend.  Thanks to Greg Lamb for organizing a great day and a perfect driving event!
