7th Edition of the 602 Ice Cup

The 7th edition of the 602 Ice Cup, organized by the Méhari Club Cassis and sponsored by Michelin and Liqui Moly, took place on January 10-11, 2026, at the Alpe d’Huez ski resort in Southeastern France.

2CV enthusiasts, who came in large numbers, ensured a warm atmosphere, exchanging with skiers and holidaymakers, and contributing to making the Coupe 602 a special winter event. It was a record year with 42 vehicles and nearly 150 participants.

On the ice track, 2CV, Méhari, Dyane, 2CV Truckette, Burton and other derivatives once again demonstrated the traction, lightness and versatility of these iconic Citroëns.

Over 80 cm of snow fell on the Isère resort between Friday and Saturday, offering participants ability to experience different driving conditions on ice throughout the weekend, from fresh snow to packed surfaces and hard ice for the main race.

The 602 Cup is fun focused event showcasing Citroën’s rolling 2-cylinder heritage to the general public while giving owners of these legendary vehicles the opportunity to discover or rediscover ice driving in a safe, friendly and accessible environment.

A key figure at the event, François Allain, a loyal sponsor of the 602 Cup, was once again present to accompany the participants and share his passion for vintage cars.
