Back in 2010 Citroën Héritage published “Le Patrimoine Citroën”, a book that through the historic Archives service of the Citroën Conservatoire visually encapsulated the Citroën brand. The Citroën Conservatoire site houses a magnificent collection of models and objects collected over the years. Their continued effort to preserve, classify, organize and make available the marque’s historic records yields this updated edition.
Today, Citroën Héritage is announced a new richly illustrated edition of the book “Le Patrimoine Citroën”, featuring original photos that turn the spotlight on the superb articles contained in the historic collection. It describes the efforts made to safeguard, list and showcase the expressions of Citroën history represented by the vehicles, objects and archive documents.
This new edition has been expanded to include the latest acquisitions such as the renovated U23 coach, André Citroën’s desk, and a number of architectural and style drawings. With each turn of the page, the book provides a fascinating insight into the world of Citroën.
It is on sale from the Citroën Conservatoire and at Citroen’s flagship showroom C42 on Avenue des Champs-Élysées in Paris. The price is €22 incl. VAT.
Citroën Héritage is also selling a bust of André Citroën. Made of resin and metal powder with a bronze finish, the bust carries a brass plate marked “André Citroën 1878-1935”. The bust is on sale for €659 incl. VAT or €549.17 before VAT, excluding shipping.
