By Claudia Schneider….
There’s a lot going on in the Citroën scene in Germany this year! First the Speyer exhibition on the life and work of Robert Opron (which now continues in Luxembourg – I was at the vernissage and got to meet Mme Opron!), then we had the annual Spring event of the CX Club.

We celebrated in a 70s hotel (everything truly is still from the 70s, it used to be THE hotel to stay at in the 70s).

It was great to see so many CX in one place, and especially on the road – about 30 CX went on a little drive. It’s incredible how very good some of the cars still look. Some of them looked practically new!
This coming weekend I will be at the annual meeting of the German DS Club. The first week of July there’s another meeting of the CX Club (in a vineyard), and in September there will be a huge event organized by the French CX Club, at the Château de Montigny-le-Gannelon in Eure-et-Loire, France. https://www.jubilecitroencx.net/
A busy year for Citroën enthusiasts.
