I purchased this car, his name is Henri, August 2024 from the seller in the SF Bay Area. The engine did not run because a spark plug had blown out of the cylinder head along with the HELICOIL that had not been installed properly.
The speedometer shows just under 90k KMs. I think with the condition of the car, this is a true number of kilometers.
I replaced or renewed almost everything on the car from rebuilding the entire engine, brake system, interior, fixing many rust spots over the car, checking out and correcting the electrical system. The transmission is solid and makes no noise. I installed new shocks and new tires.
I made a very nice cover in the trunk to protect the tire. Two cans of touch up paint come with the car.
All 2CV parts came from Kenji at FPS West and I’ve kept ALL the receipts.
This is a very nice 2CV and it should go to someone who appreciates all that has been done.
