We are saddened to report the passing of Citroën Autoclub Canada member Michael Srefanovic on Saturday, July 12, 2025, after a long, valiant battle against Parkinson’s disease.
Husband of Ingrid, father to Tamara, Boris (Ashley), Ivan and Marko and grandfather to Weston and Harlow, he will be remembered for his love of life, never-ending optimism and perseverance.
Holding a civil engineering degree from Belgrade, Serbia and an MBA from McGill University, he built a successful career as a project manager for mega projects around the world from Canada to Algeria. Michael spent many years providing project management training through Procept Associates and WCP Consulting. A lover of travel, he was an avid tennis player, experienced sailor, award-winning skier and talented pianist who brought many people joy through his music.
Michael was a huge 2CV fan. He owned 5 of them through the years. Here are pictures of 4 he owned while in Canada;

His 8-year-old grandson is already enjoying the model that used to sit on Michael’s desk.
Michael was also noted for bringing the Nissan S-Cargo (inspired by the 2CV Truckette) into Canada. In the early 2000s, he could be seen jaunting around Toronto in one.
A memorial celebration of his life will be organized in the coming weeks. Donations in Michael’s memory can be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation. For online condolences, please visit www.lowandlow.ca.
