With winter raging on in Canada and the Northern USA states, we felt it fitting to celebrate the whiteness by taking a drive with Etienne Musslin who like all kids, wanted to go play in the powder!
If the name sounds familiar, you might remember the article we published about he and Fabien de Valroger trekking from San Francisco to Houston in a 1969 Méhari!
In this instance though, he decided to fit some some old studded snow tires on his 2CV Truckette to see what happens on a back-road in France.
The video is 15 minutes of winter driving fun, shot from a few angles — much of it with a bird’s eye view of the Truckette barrelling along.
Etienne has been a 2CV enthusiast from a very young age, so obviously as soon as he was able to buy one, he did!
20 years later, he has traveled around half a million kilometers at the wheel of numerous Deuches… Author of several books on the subject (Incroyable 2CV, Larousse), journalist, photographer and editor-in-chief of specialized magazines for almost 15 years, he is now an entrepreneur since creating his garage dedicated to the purchase and sale of 2CVs in original condition.
