From a collection of abandoned Tractions in the old List factory in Rhinau, to a quite presentable 1934 Traction cabriolet Type 7C and a bargain deal on a 1968 DS 21 cabriolet, the Osenat auction house held a most interesting online bidding opportunity from January 23 – 26, 2022.
The Tractions Avants discovered in Rhinau along with some other classic marques among them, were snapped up by ambitious restorers.
This 1934 Traction cabriolet Type 7C sold for a just 48.500 €
And for someone who wanted a DS convertible without the six-figure price tag, this 1968 DS 21 cabriolet (built by an unknown body shop, but looking decent nonetheless with new interior upholstery) and apparently needing just the convertible top cleaned, was hammered sold — also for a mere 48.500 €
A low original mileage (52,536 kms) 1971 SM 5-speed that was estimated to sell for between 35.000 – 50.000 € fetched just 30.500 €, most like because the likely because the black leather interior was redone but not in original type leather.
There were other great deals to be had — like this 1964 Panhard 24 CT that needed some mechanical work, looked good otherwise and sold for 11.400 €
