We received a message this morning about a 1971 DS21 Citromatic that is going to be auctioned at 9:30 AM this coming Saturday, December 14, 2024 at the United Congregational Church at 1411 County St. in the heart of Somerset, MA.
Apparently it was owned by a professional mechanic over the years, and it is in very good condition! The clear coat is coming off as you can see, and it does need some TLC, but it has been well cared for.
We are pointing this out to Citroënvie members as it could be an opportunity to purchase a driver quality DS for far below market value. (Note we say “could be” — we don’t know the condition and we have not listed it for sale in our Citroënvie Marketplace section.)
It will be the lead-off item in an old-time live auction. If you cannot be there in person, you can call Amanda Migneault at 508-558-1366 for any questions. You do not need to be there to bid, anyone interested can put a bid in through her. She is a Licensed Auctioneer.

Update — December 16, 2024: Two bidders quickly brought the bidding to $9,500, and with the buyers premium factored in — the DS sold for $11,000 USD. As you can from the photos that Tara Crane took at the auction, don’t always believe the condition stated in an ad’s listing. Yikes!!:
