The 17th edition of the annual Bastille Day Rally and Rendezvous, organized by The Greater New-York Citroen & Velosolex Touring Club, took place on Sunday July 10th.
The rally included many vintage Citroëns, some other antique French cars and also antique Velosolex (motorized bicycles). The event kicked off at 9 AM at Grant’s Tomb on Riverside Drive South and 123rd Street. Cars were on display there for public viewing between 9AM and 10:30AM and then the procession drove around Manhattan with several stops and finished mid-afternoon on the South West corner of Central Park @ 5th Avenue and 60th Street becoming part of the 2016 Bastille Day on 60th Street Fair.
Ed Note: Didn’t know the hood of a DS could support 2 people! Not recommended practice.
