A major classic car event in France, this year’s Salon Epoqu’Auto at the Parc des Expositions International de Lyon (Lyon-Eurexpo Chassieu) will feature an interesting auction on November 9 handled by auctioneer Mr. Jean-Pierre Osenat. One of the cars offered will be 1937 Citroën Traction 7C Cabriolet (estimated to fetch between 70.000 to 90.000 €).
Traction Cabriolets stir our interest. They remain undervalued compared to other convertibles of that era and a comparative bargain in the Citroën community compared to ID and DS Cabrios, If it sells in the estimated price range someone is probably going home with a very good deal.
Want a bit more flair? Also for sale will be a 1936 Panhard Dynamic Coupe (estimated to go for 50.000 -70.000 €).
And then there’s the typical classic offerings:
• a 1970 Jaguar E-Type 4.2 liter convertible (est: 80.000 – 90.000 €)
• a 1972 Maserati Bora (est: 70.000 – 80.000 €)
• a 1968 Renault Alpine A110 1300S (est: 80.000 – 90.000 €)
• a 1965 Alfa Romeo SS (est: 85.000 – 95.000 €)
• a 1976 Cadillac Eldorado Coupe that belonged to King Leopold II of Belgium, and with just 5800 km (est: 20.000 – 25.000 €)
• a Renault Alpine A310 long used by the Rapid Intervention Brigade (BIS) of the National Gendarmerie, (est: 13.000 – 18.000 €)
