You will love this video if you haven’t seen it before. It is a film recorded from The History Channel in 1995 and now appears on YouTube. It provides a good history of the Citroën company, their cars of the 1920’s and in the 1930’s the Traction Avant. Also covers the introduction of the 2CV, the DS and up to point Citroën introduced the SM. At the beginning of the program they mention two SM owners in North America; Bill Green an Aerospace Engineer and John Chassin – author of the book “Why Citroën” and who is very much an active Citroën enthusiast in the Chicago area to this day.
