Organized by the Classic Car Club of the Argentine Republic and held from October 9 to 12, Autoclásica celebrated its 24th edition in the gardens of the San Isidro Racecourse, with an exhibition that covered more than a century of history through cars, motorcycles, racing vehicles, and unique pieces preserved by collectors and entities from all over the country.
This edition celebrated the 60th anniversary of the Torino, Chevrolet Camaro, Fiat 1500 Vignale, and Alfa Romeo Spider, along with the 110th anniversary of BMW.
Three important centennials were also highlighted: the 100th anniversary of Mercedes-Benz, founded in 1926 from the merger of Daimler-Motoren-Gesellschaft and Benz & Cie.; the 100th anniversary of the 500 Millas Argentinas in Rafaela – one of the great chapters in the history of national motorsport –; and the 100th anniversary of Touring.
During a visit to this exhibition, which brought together about 1,200 vehicles, we naturally found the presence of several Citroën models. The largest concentration was at the Citroën Club Bs As stand, where the following were displayed:
- 5CV-C3 (1926-Origin France)
- 15 SiX (1951-Origin France)
- 2cvAZLE (1958-Origin Belgium)
- 3cvAzam (1969-Origin Argentina)
- Mehari (1974-Origin Argentina)
- GSA Special (1981-Origin France)
- Cx25GTI Turbo2 (1987-Origin France), BX Evasion 4×4 (1990-Origin France)
- Ax GT (1990-Origin France), AX GTI (1993-Origin France)

The club also showcased three Citroën engines:
- 4-cylinder 5hp for C3 (1922-1926)
- Bicylinder A53 18hp for 2cv
- 4-cylinder (1911cc) 11 Performance for Traction Avant.

In another area, we also found a 1970 D-Super displayed by CADeAA and a 1971 DS21 exhibited by a private collector.
Autoclasica 2026 was attended by the ACI delegates from Argentina (Ignacio Graciano, Alejandro Beiroa) and the delegate from Uruguay (Jorge Santamarina).
Throughout its four days, visitors were able to explore the different exhibition areas and enjoy the traditional Concours d’Elegance, one of the most anticipated moments of each edition. This year’s top award, the “Best of Show” prize, went to a 1910 Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost.

Finally, we highlight the words of Ricardo Battisti, President of the Classic Car Club of the Argentine Republic:
“Autoclásica is a celebration of our automotive heritage and, above all, of the passion of those who dedicate time and effort to preserving it. Every vehicle has a story, and our goal is for those stories to continue being known and enjoyed by new generations.”
