Citroën SMs have come up for sale frequently on the e-auction website Bring-A-Trailer.  A few in pristine condition, others that are just “drivers”, some that needed “a few things” fixed and a couple where the term “parts car” would be considered a compliment.  Nevertheless BAT have embraced the SM and in an article posted today they give their explanation as to why they love them. 

However as Citroenvie member Larry Lewis states in the comments section of the article, they should have mentioned Jerry Hathaway at SM World’s Bonneville salt flat SM speed record car as well as it’s SM pickup truck tow car and Citroën-hydraulic race car trailer.
