While Citroën Racing today introduced its sports program for the coming season , the brand also took the opportunity to confirm the start of production of the DS3 Cabrio Racing model. It will be available in limited quantities starting next year.
Citroen DS3 Cabrio Racing will be equipped with a 1.6 litre gas engine developing 207 hp, and it will have a carbon kit, air diffuser, dual outlet performance exhausts. Its braking system will also be performance oriented, – derived from Citroën’s expertise in competition.
Citroën is hoping that the DS3 Cabrio Racing will appeal to lovers of fast small sports cars. Aesthetically it will have “Grey Moondark matte finish “, and the 19-inch black sport wheels as shown on the concept. The interior features Nappa leather and Alcantara stamped with ‘Citroën Racing’.
