DS Cabriolet Theft in France

A DS Cabriolet built by Ivanoff was stolen on April 26, 2022 from Les Essarts Le Vicomte in Marne (51) France (about 100 kms east of Paris). Though the thieves probably thought in their haste that it was an authentic Cabriolet, (by Henri Chapron), it is not and as you can see in these photos there seems to be a bit of sagging where the right fender meets the passenger door, and the trunk lid does not fit properly. Nevertheless, a theft is a theft, so please be on the lookout for this car.

It is registered as a 1971 DS 21 IE cabriolet (button door handles) with a mechanical gearbox. The colour is platinum blue with a black leather interior and a vinyl steering wheel. Its serial number is 00 FB 6365. It normally has Dutch plates (AM-82-42) but the thieves most likely changed them. It also has a trailer hitch (rather rare on a DS convertible) but the thieves may have removed it.

If you see this car or if you have information that could help find its trail, please do not hesitate to contact Club Ivanoff at: 06.80.15.74.14 or email: ivanoff@online.fr. They will put you in touch with the owner. He is a Dutchman who lives most of the year in Les Essarts and speaks French very well.
