Seeking a 1955 – 1975 DS or ID sedan for an art car project. The car does not need to have a title as it will only be transported between museums.
A complete custom interior will be fitted, so the car only needs to have an interior that can be reupholstered (not a burned or stripped out car). Body panels may have surface rust, but no major dents or rust holes. Trim and glass should all be intact and not severely rusted or broken.
The hydro-pneumatic system does not need to be operational. A running car is preferred, but this is not absolutely necessary.
Structure of the car should be mostly intact without severe rust damage. Trunk floor may be rusted out as long as surrounding structure exists to easily weld in or patch the floor.
Specifications above are bare minimum, but we are open to cars in better condition than described above as long as cost is below $15,000 USD.
