It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of André Verner at the Intensive Care Unit of the CIUSSS MCQ-CHAUR in Trois-Rivières, on November 10, 2025. He was 79 years of age. The family wishes to express their gratitude to all the staff of the Intensive Care Unit for the excellent care provided.
He leaves to mourn, in addition to his wife Suzanne Gaudet, his children: Nathalie and Bruno; his granddaughter Marily Brault (Olivier Vallée); his great-granddaughter Loralie Vallée; as well as many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, his aunt, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
André was passionate about classic cars. For the past five years he organized the Élégance Trois-Rivières. At the time of his death, he owned a 1971 Citroën DS21 Pallas, which he bought new in 1971 in Quebec. Like all classic-car enthusiasts, André spent countless hours taking care of his car. It was like a member of his own family.
Participating in exhibitions and sharing his car with others, brought him an immeasurable sense of reward. This great storyteller will be missed by all.
Visitation for family and friends will be at Rousseau Funeral Home Sunday, November 30, the day of the funeral, starting at 12:30 p.m. with a Liturgy of the Word to be held on that afternoon at 3:30 p.m. To attend the Liturgy of the Word via webcast, please contact the family for the password.

I knew him for many years.
He will leave a great void. My condolences to his wife.
Am sorry to hear of Andre’s passing. I recall being on a train several times with Andre between Artois Rivières and Quebec City . Andre also invited me to his home and we spoke quite often about train operations. My condolences to the family
