L’Aventure Peugeot Citroën DS to display at Rétromobile 2024
Though Stellantis decided in early December 2023 that it would not be present at Retromobile 2024 with their traditional booths (Citroën, DS Automobiles, Peugeot etc.), part of a move that has seen the company retract globally from participation in auto shows, L’Aventure Peugeot Citroën DS issued a press release on January 22 that it will once again be present this year at the Parisian show dedicated to classic vehicles along with several clubs affiliated with L’Aventure Peugeot.
The statement announced that “an overview of its different areas of expertise” will be presented on stand 3D082 in Hall 3. It will also offer an opportunity for attendees to join L’Aventure and thus “contribute to the preservation of this exceptional automotive heritage and join a community of committed enthusiasts.”
L’Aventure Peugeot will be present with six of its affiliated clubs: the 205 GTI Club de France, Amicale 204-304, Amicale 504, Club 404, Le Club 104, and Les Amis de Darl’Mat.
Four cars, belonging to members of these clubs, will be on display:
- A 205 GTI 1.6 105 hp from 1989
- A 304 S convertible from 1975
- A 504 coupe from 1973
- A 404 super luxury sedan from 1967
L’Aventure Citroën and L’Aventure DS Automobiles, with L’Amicale Citroën & DS France and seven of its clubs; (La Traction Universelle, CX Club de France, A2CF, Club Citroën France, Euro SM Club, ParIDS, Citromini), will exhibit six vehicles:
- A Traction Avant 7A (from the Conservatoire Citroën & DS)
- A CX 2000 (also from the Conservatory)
- A 2 CV AZ
- An LNA
- A SM
- A DS 23 electronic injection
In addition to displaying at Rétromobile , L’Aventure Citroën and L’Aventure DS Automobiles will open the Conservatoire Citroën & DS, located in Aulnay-sous-Bois just north of Paris. It will be open to the public from Wednesday January 31 to Friday February 2, 2024.
Entrance fees to the Citroën & DS Conservatory from 01/31 to 02/02 will be:
Adults (from 18 years old): €12
Students, Stellantis staff: €9
Young people (7-17 years): €6
Children (0-6 years): free
Members of L’Aventure Peugeot Citroën DS: free
