Life-Saving Road Trip in a 2CV Truckette

Hemmings Daily featured an article yesterday by Daniel Strohl about what was perhaps the longest family road trip in a 2CV, and one that might very well have saved lives. Jacques Pochon-Davignon departed from Laos with his family in a 2CV Truckette, en route to Paris. The circumstances being that civil war was about to break out and he needed a reliable vehicle not just to escape the country, but to return all the way home to France.
