More Citroëns To Be Auctioned At Pebble Beach

We mentioned back on June 13, 2019, that a 1962 Citroën ID19 Le Dandy Coupe is to auctioned by Gooding & Company at Pebble Beach on August 16 & 17. It would appear that a few more rare Citroëns are also going to be on the block. They are:

Specifications for each along with estimated values have yet to be disclosed.

Along with these Citroëns will be sold an extremely rare 1838 Tatra 77A Limousine owned by John Long.

At the RM | Sothebys auction at Pebble Beach (actually the Monterey Conference Center) a 1963 Citroën DS 19 Décapotable will be up for grabs again. We say again because it was last offered for sale by Bonhams at the Barrett-Jackson collector car sale in Scottsdale on January 10, 2019. It has been heavily customized to make it a modern driving experience but still appears, on the surface at least, to be original. In the engine bay sits a turbocharged fuel injected engine and to accommodate it the battery has been relocated to the trunk. It sold at Barret Jackson for $212,800 US and was then listed for sale at Hyman Ltd. in St. Louis, MO for $325,000 US. We’ll see just how much it appreciates being offered at Pebble Beach!
