Rackkatrac & Co’s Commitment to Traction Avant Preservation

Now going into their 8th year, and with a brand new location in Cliousclat, Rackkatrac & Co is maintaining their passion for keeping the legendary Citroën Traction Avant operational in France and abroad.

Rackkatrac & Co specializes in the renovation of Citroën Tractions. Jason Raccasi and Quentin Groult, two friends passionate about mechanics, opened Rackkatrac originally in Livron-sur-Drôme in the Drôme region in southeastern France, situated in the Rhône valley, between Valence and Montélimar.

Just outside the nearby of Cliousclat, Citroën dealer SARL André Claude recently closed and they were able to take over the building;

As you can see, using a modern Citroën dealership building as the basis for relocating their operation, the transformation they have made for Traction Avant restoration and service is impressive!

Jason, aka Rackka, has been passionate about vintage vehicles since childhood. He has a cult-like admiration of the the Traction Avant ever since a surreal encounter with a wreck deep in the woods. As a teenager, he began collecting them and within ten years, restored around ten various models making them even more reliable and a truly drive-able classic investment.

Quentin, became interested in mechanics at a very young age and began a collection of vehicles on which he acquired the basics. He worked as a mechanic in various car dealerships but returned to his passion, old Citroëns.

Together, they offer full restoration services for Tractions as well as a used and new parts business for them.

They proudly tout “Quality is our watchword and your satisfaction, our goal.” It’s great to see such commitment to preserving the Traction Avant.
