On Saturday March 18, 2023 Citroëns gathered from all over Australia for Cit-in at Murry Bridge about 70 Km from Adelaide. A national meet, it is Australia’s version of what enthusiasts in the USA call Rendezvous.
The Show & shine started at 9.00 am. On display were about 24 2CV’s and derivates, these drew a lot of interest as usual. No two were the same as these photos show.
After the 2CVs, only 2 Tractions came. It’s a long way and they are getting old, like their owners.
The DS’s made a good show, about 20 turned up, from all over the country again. No two were the same.
Next a CX, a BX and a Dispatch van made a nice group for the interested visitors.
On the other side of the Dispatch van there were 2 Sm’s and an XM.
As well there were plenty of post 2000 models the daily drivers of many of the 170 enthusiasts that attended. Below, some of the daily drivers from C6, C4, a DS3 and C5 X7 with the bonnet open.

My red C5 sits with some less colourful C5’s.
After a Sausage sizzle lunch, we were directed to an open patch of the oval, where a motorkhana was held. The white car shown here is the newest car from Citroen Aust. The C5X it is 4 cyl 1.6 liter with an 8-speed auto box, upgraded from the engine & gearbox PSA shares with BMW for the Mini range.

A GS joined in.
You couldn’t keep the 2CVs away.
And finally, a C5x7 and a C6 had a go at the motorkhana course. Lots of dust.
After about an hour I was directed back to our accommodation for a siesta. All up a great day!
