SMs are not going cheap these days as the estimated selling price of £30,000 – 35,000 for this one with some obvious defects would indicate. The interior seats appear to have been redone hastily. Looking at the lower rocker panels there could be some rust issues underneath. The driver’s floor carpet is well worn and the trunk carpeting would indicate that moisture has gathered underneath.
There are some soft dents on the right side. In the engine bay it has the original piston type AC compressor. And the left headlight cover has tape on it which probably means that it is cracked and requires an expensive replacement.
Still for those of us with SM’s it makes us feel good that prices are getting up there and motivating us to keep them in decent shape.
Want a real challenge? This Aston Martin Lagonda has potential if everyone else is too intimidated to bid:

Makes a Maserati Quadraporte of the same era seem like a Chevy Impala. Citroënvie member Harjeet Kalsi has an immaculate one in Vancouver.
