East Coast Rendezvous has always been held on Fathers’ Day weekend but this year the event was postponed by two weeks.
It was heartening to see that even with gas at $5.58 US a gallon for premium, it did not deter the gathering of about 160 Citroëns.
With a great blend of seasoned Rendezvous veterans & over 10 first timers, there was a beautiful energy all weekend long.
After cancellation in June 2020 due to Covid, holding a Mini-Rendezvous in September, and postponement again in June of this year – a “normal” Citroën Rendezvous finally took place again at Saratoga Springs, NY from September 9 — 12, 2021.
Despite the formal cancellation this year of Rendezvous at Saratoga Springs, a small group of enthusiasts made a day trip to the usual show-field at Lakefield Farms to get-together on Father’s Day.
Although the Rendezvous, at Saratoga Springs NY, is still 3 months away, cancellation is possibility.
