The Bugatti Montebello Day – July 16, 2013

Today, I went to Montebello to meet the Bugatti’s.  They were from all over the USA and Canada.  My first time seeing these cars.  They are works of art.  Some of them were worth over $1.5 million.  They were all at Mont Tremblant for a Club meeting, some racing.

They drove down to the Chateu Montebello and there we had lunch.  After the lunch, we went outside where all the cars were, and we, members of the VEA, had a medal in remembering this day, which was given to each Bugatti owner.  When I gave out mine, the owner was really happy.  I told him it was made out of Canadian Gold, which he will find out it is brass.

It was a hot day, but all went well.  My MGB ran like a top.  It was a worthwhile trip.  Thanks to the ones that organized this day for the VEA.  I am sure Richard Boudrias was one of them.  It was nice to see some of the members that I had not seen for a while.
