Artcuriel to Auction 2 Citroëns at Rétromobile 2025

The Artcuriel auction house will be selling 2 Citroëns as part of their offering of 112 automobiles at Rétromobile in Paris on Feb. 7, 2025.

1973 Méhari
VIN: 04CA4831
Estimate: €12,000 – €18,000 — No Reserve

4 seats, folding windshield, reinforced bonnet held in place by elastic straps.

Completely stripped down to be rebuilt from the frame up. Running gears were overhauled, shock absorbers replaced and the braking system redone; a new body was fitted along with original accessories. Upholstery was replaced, including the hood. Engine rebuilt. Electrical system redone. Four new Toyo tyres were fitted on the rims, repainted in the same colour as the bodywork.

1964 2CV “Sahara”

VIN: 2005 000080
Estimate: €80,000 – €120,000 — No Reserve

Built at Citroën’s factory in Vigo Spain, this 2 CV ‘Sahara’ was part of a batch of 80 such vehicles destined for the Spanish ‘Guardia Civil’. It was then registered in the UK in 1983 and was bought at the beginning of the 2000s by an English Citroën employee. Now restored with all the technical features specific to this original model.

One of only 693 Sahara models were built from 1961–1967.
