LegalBorkers.eu is auctioning 120 2CVs that have been locked away for 30 years in 2 big barns in Belgium. Frederik Elsermans, the owner’s son, is putting them up for sale. One barn is located near the french border (Tichem – Kouterweg 6 8573 Anzegem) and the other near the dutch border (Pastoor de katerstraat 15 2387 Baarle-Hertog).
They are promoting the auction by saying “Lets find some loving new owners for these lovely 2cv’s!!” In reality, the barns are more like a mortuary for 2CVs. Are all in very rough shape to be sure, but there are parts for bargain hunting Europeans to salvage.

Besides 2CVs there are 2 Acadyanes, an Ami 8, a BX, 4 Dyanes, and 2 Visas. Probably the most interesting and restorable are 3 light utility vehicles listed as Citroën Vanclees. Never heard of the Vanclee before?
Vanclee is a Belgian buggy manufacturer that built the Vanclee Mungo based on the Citroën 2CV (chassis and engine). Produced from 1980 to 1990, the engine is 602 cc and the bodywork is all fibreglass. It also shares some other bits various PSA Peugeot Citroën products such as: Citroën Visa door locks, square headlights from the 2CV 4/6, and Peugeot 205 taillights.
