Celebration in Argentina for the 75th anniversary of the 2CV

On Sunday, November 12, 2023 the 75th anniversary of the Citroën 2CV was celebrated at the Club Los Pinares in Capilla del Señor (Province of Buenos Aires).

On this spectacular day, framed by a clear sky and almost summery temperatures, the Citroën Club Buenos Aires also celebrated its 23rd anniversary and the 50th anniversary of the Citroën 3CV Prestige was remembered. For its part, Citroën Argentina accompanied the day with the presence of two of its current models: the new Citroën C3 and the brand’s flagship model, the C5 Aircross SUV.

In this authentic automotive festival, dozens of 2CV and 3CV could be appreciated, as well as some Traction Avant, Ami 8, Mehari, CX, Visa, Dyane, among other models from different eras. Highlights included the presence of the 1960 2CV that won second place in its category in Autoclasica 2023 and the 3CV that was part of the African crossing carried out earlier this year.

There was also a wide variety of activities, such as caravans, exhibitions, competitions and special award ceremonies.

An unforgettable holiday outdoors and with the family: the best tribute to the 2CV, a model that left its mark on the hearts of different generations of Argentines.
