Excellent condition late model 2CV with 602 cc engine. Restored in 2014 by one of Holland’s most reputable 2CV restoration facilities; Garage Sander AakJerirk. It was imported by Erik DeWidt in Maryland and shipped to its present owner in Edmonton, Alberta. Since then it has only been driven in the summer and for very short distances. Always garage stored.

The restoration was purpose built from the ground up, starting with a new chassis. Much of the body shell sheet metal Is new, as are the floor boards. sills, firewall, trunk, tail gate, inner wheel wells, fenders and bumpers. Mechanically it was rebuilt as necessary; A 123 electronic ignition was installed, the engine sheet metal and heater boxes were powder coated, all new brakes, exhaust and 4 new wheels and tires. New roof. New interior upholstery was fitted, new windshield, rubbers and gaskets and sound insulation. The goal was to produce a 2CV a close to genuine factory new condition as practical.
It was determined that the engine and transmission did not need a rebuild. Both have been serviced and are in fine running order. Testing after the restoration indicated that the O-rings are okay and there was no evidence of leaking or burning of oil. The compression at that time was 150 psi in both cylinders.
