At this year’s Gooding & Company Pebble Beach auction (August 13 & 14) one of the very last 2CVs built will be auctioned. Currently part of the Mullin Automotive Museum collection, it has had only two owners and shows 10,000 original kilometers on the odometer. The first owner purchased the car to drive from his estate to the market in Deauville, France, a distance of just one kilometer.
This 2CV, (chassis # VF7AZKA00KA372304) was purchased by the Mullin Automotive Museum in 2015, and remains in nearly new condition. Though it is listed at a 1991 model, the last 2CV was produced at the Mangualde plant in Portugal on 27 July 1990.
It is said to be completely rust-free and is being offered without reserve — predicted to sell for between $10,000 – $15,000 US. We suspect it will go for considerably more, though the engine bay does not look pristine.

Update — Aug. 16, 2021: The 2CV sold for $20,160. US.
