Laura Transitions from Canadian to French Persona in a DS

Citroënvie member Paul Anderson sent us this link to a video clip reviewing a beater of a DS Safari from an unusual car YouTube channel called Cold War Motors. As Paul says, “Hard to describe the content other than to say that it is dedicated to post war vehicles of questionable condition. The host of the show, Scott Newstead, who sounds just like Seth Rogan, is a fan of Citroën.”

Laura, the sister of the Scott and a novice to Citroën, experiences the quirkiness of the French marvel, and gets a bit more Gallic along the way. It’s interesting to see her reaction as she takes it for a drive.

What’s even more amazing is that the ride is as good as it is on 50 year old tires!

Judging by one of the road signs they pass by, indicating HWY 19 with a maple leaf insignia on one and Road 824 on the other, the video appears to have been shot in Canada near Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. It starts around the 30 minute and 20 second mark.”

Enjoy:

Typically Scott posts an hour video each Saturday.  Pretty unusual mix of content. Right now the main projects are a Model T, an Edsel, Continental Mark II and a 1960 Plymouth Sport Fury.

Also in progress is a Rover P5 and a Citroën SM.  The SM appears to be more of a 2022 project.
