Multiple Citroëns to be auctioned at Coys Interclassics Maastricht 2017

A variety of D model and 2CV derived Citroëns were are on the Auction block at Coys Interclassics Auction in Maastricht, one of the oldest cities in Holland.  Held over four days from Jan. 12 – 13, 2017, prices look to remain strong for all of them.  Here is what’s up for sale:

Lot 201 – 1963 2CV
Chassis Number: 1302913

An original 2CV is presented in unrestored condition, having had only one private owner from new, before spending 20 years in a private collection. The 2CV has never been restored, rather preserved, with the brakes having been recently reconditioned.

Lot 221 – 1963 DS Cabriolet by Chapron
Chassis Number: 3281504

First registered in May 1963, this cabriolet was first registered to Switzerland.  It has enjoyed a highly comprehensive restoration which is supported by a photographic record.  Such is the quality of the finished car that this example was chosen by the publishers of Classic and Sportscar to be photographed in their studios in London.

Chassis Number: 3670404

First registered on 28th July 1965, this ID version has had only 3 owners from new, the first being French, before the car found its way to Belgium where it currently resides.  It is offered with 12 years of maintenance history, and the hydraulic system has been recently overhauled.

An original car which has been imported into Belgium and was restored 4 years ago, supported by a file of its restoration history.
This Mehari was exhibited for 6 months at the C42 museum in Paris.
