1964 Citroën Ami 6 – Rare Canadian Spec Model

A very special Ami 6 that is an “all there” candidate deserving a proper restoration.  One of the very few Ami 6 sold in Canada in the 1960s.  We believe it to be the only surviving one!  Canadian versions had Euro headlights with USA “export” front turn signal lights on protruding pods, but with clear lenses.  MPH speedo showing an odometer reading of 22,698 miles.  New tires have been fitted since the outdoor photos were taken!  Currently stored in a shipping container, the car actually runs, however restoration is needed.  Lower body front floors and lower firewall will need to be replaced.  The driver’s door sags when opened.  The frame appears to be solid.  The interior is in remarkably good condition. Glass is all good all around.  Have spare front fenders and a hood from an Ami 6 Wagon that is part of the sale.  Located in Tillsonburg, ON.  Price: $3,000 CAD.

  1. Not the “only one” as I have one as well. Drove it in a building probably 30 years ago and there it sits. was a Senators car.

    1. Hi John S.
‘t would interest me a lot to see some photo’s of your AMI – It especcially interest me if you see also tamponed the CAN-PO with a written number on the firewall under the bonnet on the right-hand site. And please let me know wht the coulor of the AMI is. Has it red-plastic seat covers, or is it cloth? Please let me know ? Thank you a lot.
