On September 1, 2024 a special Citroën made an appearance at the Gathering of the Marques in Lime Rock Park, CT.

Today was a fun day at the Lime Rock Park Concours and Gathering of the Marques show. I’ve never been to the Sunday car show because I’d rather race cars than look at them. But I heard that Jeff Lane from the Lane Motor Museum in Nashville TN was going to be there. Jeff brought the Cogolin 2CV that we built in my shop back in 2006 or 2007 to display. It was a fun project to build and today I got to see it again and hang with Jeff for a while.
While talking with Jeff, Wayne Carini from F40 Motorsports (and television) stopped by. In the photo is Brad Phillips, Jeff Lane, then Wayne Carini, and me. Lots of people really enjoyed the Cogolin and there were tons of photos taken with lots of smiles on people’s faces looking at it.
The car we built was a replica of a real work vehicle for a fire Department in Cogolin, France. You can see a little history of the Cogolin and some photos of the build here: https://www.daveburnhamcitroen.com/specials.html.
